Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be over 18 to get tattooed?
Yes. It is illegal in the state of Queensland to perform a tattoo service on a minor, regardless of parental consent. Upon arriving for your appointment, our artist will ask for photographic identification.

Should I walk in or book an appointment?
We are a small privately run shop, so all bookings are essential.

Do I have to leave a deposit?
Yes. To confirm an appointment and secure you the spot, we require a deposit. This comes off of your total for the day and is non-refundable if you cancel. We will reschedule your appointment for another day and transfer your deposit over if you cannot make your original booking. However, in the instance a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment and you will be required to leave another deposit if you wish to book a different date.

How can I be prepared for my appointment?
Make sure you are well rested. Getting tattooed can be a tiring experience physically. Make sure you’re hydrated and have had a good meal. Wear loose clothing around the area you are getting tattooed. Also bring something to entertain yourself (and make sure your phone is fully charged!)

Can I drink alcohol before or during my tattoo appointment?
No. Alcohol thins the blood and makes you more prone to bleeding. This makes it hard for the ink to penetrate the skin properly which means you’ll be attending further appointments for touch ups. Also, alcohol is prohibited inside tattoo studios.

What happens if I cant make my appointment?
Give us a heads up! Call or message us as soon as you become aware that you cannot make your appointment so we can rebook you for the next available.

Can I get tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No.

Can I bring my kids or dog with me to my appointment?
No. A tattoo shop is not a safe environment for children. Service dogs are always accepted.
